Building a strong scientific culture is an imperative for Africa. It is the true foundation for all scientific development and technological growth. I recently launched the project  ‘Making Science the Star’ which brings together various skills such as film actors, filmmakers, musicians, writers and journalists. We aim at strengthening african scientific culture through the production of movies series, long and short movies, TV shows and documentaries on science. (Text: Stéphane Kenmoe)

About the KWI Colloquium
The KWI Colloquium provides a platform to present and discuss congoing as well as emerging research projects. It does not solely address research projects from within the KWI, but is also open to guest lectures which tie in with the KWI’s research agenda.
